Who are we?

We are a family from Kolding, Denmark who loves sailing. We bought our lovely Beneteau Oceanis 523 from 2006 sailing boat in May 2018. The boat is bought from previously one owner and is in great condition and shape. It has great sailing abilities for both leisure and sport. 

Leif and me (Rita) met in 2012 and moved in together the day after we met.  Crazy ha'? Fast.... i know, but 12 year later we are still together and growing strong. In our life together we managed to get our selv a daughter, Mille who is 10 years old as i am creating this page. 

Leif had a dream for 17 years to have his own boat so he could sail with family and friends. so, in 2017 that dream turned into reality. 

Leif has had a sailing licence and sailed since he was 17 year old. He sat on the beach and there was boat sailing by. He could hear the laughter on the boat and the idilic dream of being free... He decided there and then, that this is what he wants - his OWN boat!

I started learning to sail once i met Leif. I went to a local sailing school and 2 year later had my licence. :) 

We also got ourselves a dog, Basse. :) A real water dog they say.... Portuguese water dog. We love him, he has so much charakter and so funny that we cannot image not having him with us..

We also have my mum Virginia on board, not just because she is my mum, but because she is a great sailor. She can make sandwiches and not get sick, when everyone else is being sea sick! :) 

Mille and her are like total buds! it is so great for mu daughter to have her grandmother with her at almost all times.... They enjoy each others company and share a cabin when we are on board!
